After owning our first caravan, a second hand pop top we made heaps of memories and always had plans to travel Australia, the little pop top was not going to cut it. It was good for about 10 days, not full time.

We headed off to the local caravan show and stumbled across a van with an external laundry below what looked like two bunk windows. I had to see the inside……. It was exactly what I had imagined with storage under the bottom bunk.

With some idea of what we wanted, we began asking about customisation and everything we asked we got the answer ‘Yeah sure, we can do that for you’. Asking for more, we always got the same answer. As we were talking the guy we were talking with offered some suggestions that improved our requests. Didn’t realise at the time, the guy we were speaking with was the owner, we knew immediately that we were in the right spot.

Then it was time to start the build, we had a short phone conversation with Jed and we discussed our travel plans, Jed suggested deleting some of the roof openings and adding more solar, with complete confidence in the team we said ‘we will leave it to you to make it work’

Since picking up the van it has performed perfectly and we could not be happier.

We have now owned the van for almost 12 months and lived in it full time for 4 months and never plugged it into a power point, at this point it is now a challenge to see how long we can go without plugging it in.

We have just driven the Savanna Way from Karumba to Booraloola. The NT section of this road is massively corrugated, I’m talking seven hours of bone shaking. We had some concerns when we met a family who lost the wheel off their car, and stories of vans falling apart and requiring tow trucks.

The Vibe did everything you could want it to and performed perfectly. We had one cable rattle loose from part of the solar equipment, a quick message to the vibe team, they pointed me in the right direction and I was back in business.

Nothing is a problem for these fantastic people and the service is exceptional.
