Hi, we’re the Lardner’s! a family of four travelling Australia full-time with our two kids.

After years of working, daycare drop-offs, routines and feeling like life was flying by, we decided to hit pause and spend more time together while the kids are young. We sold up, got married and packed our lives into a caravan and have been exploring Australia ever since.

Our days now are filled with beach walks, campfires, fishing trips, chasing sunsets and making memories together. It’s not always perfect, but we wouldn’t change it for the world.

We’ve been travelling Australia for around 10 months and have no plans to stop. We are slowly making our way around the country, spending more time in places we love rather than rushing from one destination to the next.

We love mixing remote camps, coastal towns and station stays, and our goal is simply to see as much of Australia as we can while giving our kids experiences they’ll remember forever.

Our favourite place this far is without a doubt, Cape York.

Reaching the tip was one of those moments we’ll never forget. The journey there was just as special as the destination itself, with incredible campsites, river crossings, remote beaches and some of the most beautiful scenery we’ve seen anywhere in Australia.

Cape York challenged us, pushed us out of our comfort zone and gave us some of our favourite family memories. Standing at the northernmost point of mainland Australia after dreaming about it for so long was a pretty special feeling.

It’s the kind of place that reminds you why you started travelling in the first place.

From day one, Vibe has felt to us like a family not just another caravan manufacturer.

Our Vibe has been our home on wheels for the last 10 months and has taken us everywhere from coastal camps to dusty outback roads.

One of the things we love most about our Vibe is how comfortable it feels to live in full-time as a family. Having young kids means we spend a lot of time in the van, especially on rainy days, so having a practical layout and a space that genuinely feels like home has been really important to us.

Travelling full-time definitely puts a caravan through its paces, but our Vibe has allowed us to explore Australia while still having all the comforts of home waiting for us at the end of each day.
