/Chasing Salt And Sunsets

We’re a family of 5 currently travelling Australia. Most of our days are spent exploring remote areas, chasing unique experiences with our kids, and sharing both the highlights and the chaos that comes with full-time travel.

 

This is our third caravan – (second towable with the first being an onsite weekender) We chose this lifestyle to spend more quality time together, show the kids parts of Australia many people never get to experience, escape the monotony and create memories outside the usual day-to-day routine – trying to slow things down! We’ve been travelling for 3 months full time around this country, mixing iconic destinations with lesser-known outback spots, free camps and plan to continue exploring for the foreseeable future. Our favourite places so far include; Oodnadatta and Mereenie Tracks, The Murray River camps and the Flinders ranges.. we can’t wait to explore the rest of the NT and head into WA!

 

We chose a Vibe Caravan because it suited the kind of travel we wanted to do as a family. We needed something practical for long-term travel, comfortable for everyday living with kids, and capable of handling the mix of highways, remote roads, and the off-grid stays we’ve been doing. The layout, family-focused features, and overall feel of the van was priority.

 

Our experience with Vibe Caravans so far has been positive. The van has handled everything from busy caravan parks to rough outback tracks and remote free camps well. It’s become more than just a caravan — it’s our home for now. We’ve also appreciated the support and community around the brand, which makes a big difference when you’re living on the road full-time.
